Celtic copper leaf necklace

Commission - christmas present for female. Customer liked my copper leaf work, and gave me the starting points:

- elegant
- asymmetric
- physics-y
- celtic
The result - a wide band woven from six strands of sterling silver wire, each individual strand terminating in a domed, polished and electro-etched copper leaf. The band is malleable enough that you can bend it to fit perfectly, springy enough to be placed around the neck with ease, and sturdy enough to stand an evening's wear without getting out of shape.

The presentation box I constructed from balsawood, with finger joints around the base and sides, and a dovetail across the lid.

I've designed and implimented severlal variations on this theme, which I'm really pleased with. If anyone's interested in something like this, I can show sketches etc.
